From Poland to London:
A Story of Steady Faith

Hello Reader,

The academic year has officially wrapped up. Students are now home for the summer. And while the campus gets quiet, something deeper continues to grow.

This month, I want to tell you about Norbert. A story that reminded me—again—that transformation often happens quietly, over time, and through community.

Norbert — A Quiet Reminder That God Is At Work

I met Norbert last summer after preaching at Every Nation London. He’s from Poland and moved to the UK when he was around 12.

He’s now married to a Filipina and navigating this season of life with deep trust in God. We caught up recently, and something he said stuck with me:

“Things are different now… even when we’re going through something, it’s different—because God is with us.”

It wasn’t flashy. Just real. A simple confession of someone maturing in faith.

Seeing how much he’s grown over the past year reminds me why we’re here. Every seed we plant matters. And sometimes the fruit comes in moments like this.

Campus Doors Opening — New Ground Through UCCF

Last time, I shared about a meeting with Edmund, a staff worker with UCCF. That one connection has now led to open doors I couldn’t have expected.

I’ve been invited to join the London Student Forum—an opportunity to connect with and serve multiple university Christian Unions this coming term. Through this partnership, we’ll be involved with St. George’s University Hospital and Roehampton University, two key campuses where we’ve been praying for breakthrough.

I’m believing God for new connect groups to be planted in both schools during Freshers Week this September—just like He did at Imperial last year.

And here’s something special: Van works at St. George’s, and the connections are already unfolding. There’s even a possible speaking invitation with their CU on the horizon. Please join us in prayer for these wide and willing open doors.

🙏 Prayer Corner

  • For students – that the seeds planted last term continue to grow even during summer. Pray for lasting transformation.
  • For September – as we prepare for Freshers Week and the planting of two new campus groups.
  • For our family – after 18 months on the ground, we’re taking a short break together (Aug 8–13). Please pray for our Schengen visa approval (for Van and the kids), provision, and rest.

❤️ Why This All Matters

Norbert’s story. The CU partnerships. Even the family break. They’re all pieces of a bigger picture.

This is long-haul work. Quiet seeds. Unseen faithfulness. Showing up when no one’s clapping. That’s how lives change.

Thank you for making this possible.

You’re not just giving to a project or an org. You’re sowing into people like Norbert… into students we haven’t met yet… into a future community that could one day look like a church. We don’t use big titles. But we do dream big, pray hard, and keep our hands open to what God wants to build here in London.

If you’ve been giving—thank you. If you’re praying—thank you. If you’re thinking of jumping in again, or for the first time—now’s a great time.

Let’s keep building together.

P.S. A Song for the Season 🎧

Lately, I’ve had “Catch Me” by Elysaa Figueroa on repeat. It was shared with me by a good friend who’s also a pastor, and the timing was just… right.

It’s a gentle, faith-filled reminder that even when we’re not sure what’s next, God never lets us fall unnoticed.

I often think of you — the ministry partners God has used to catch us, cover us, and carry us.

If you need a moment of peace today, I hope this blesses you too.
